Your SE lives in two pools. The Earned pool comes from gameplay — missions, achievements, and onboarding rewards. The Withdrawable pool comes from deposits. When you spend SE in-game, your Earned balance is always used first, which preserves your deposited funds until you choose to use or withdraw them. Only Withdrawable SE can be cashed out.
SE pays for instant-finishing building upgrades and ship training, buying permanent builder slots, market commissions, and store items (shields, stamina refills, resource packs). Free-to-play commanders earn SE through play and compete on the same ladder as everyone else.
